Terms and Conditions

1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions may be updated or modified by Assemblé Studios ("the Studio") without prior notice.

2. Programme Schedule

2.1. The programme schedule is subject to change. Please visit our booking website for the most up-to-date information.

3. Registration

3.1. Students will only be allowed to attend any programme or class upon full payment of all applicable fees.

3.2. Registration may be open for programmes or classes which have already commenced at the sole discretion of the Studio. Fees will be prorated accordingly.

4. Refunds

4.1. No refunds will be provided for absences or late cancellations for any class missed by a student under any circumstances.

4.2. No refund of any fees will be made for any withdrawal by a student from any programme or class. A request for the transfer of credits to another party may be submitted to the Studio if the withdrawal is due to medical reasons, supported by certified medical documents. The Studio reserves the right to accept or reject any refund request after assessing the circumstances on a case-by-case basis, and its decision will be final.

5. Conduct of Students

5.1. Students must diligently follow and observe all rules, guidelines of etiquette, discipline, conduct, attire and procedure set by the Studio from time to time.

5.2. Students are required to observe punctuality when attending classes. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class begins. Latecomers without valid reasons may not be permitted to join.

5.3. The Studio reserves the right to terminate a student from any programme if he/she, in the Studio's sole opinion, does not show seriousness during class, has discipline problems and/or fails to meet any of the programme requirements. There will be no refund of any fees or transfer of credits to another party.

6. Classes

6.1. The Studio reserves the right to change or cancel a scheduled class, or to change the instructor, when necessary.

6.2. A cancelled class may be rescheduled by the Studio to a different day and/or a different time from when the class was originally scheduled.

6.3. Trial class is used for the first lesson of the programme if you are unsure whether you would like to enrol in it. Afterward, you can top up the remaining amount for the programme fee. However, please note that by doing so, it may not guarantee your spot in the subsequent lessons if the class is fully booked by students who have already enrolled for the entire programme.

7. Rescheduling and Cancellation

7.1. Rescheduling or cancelling a class must be done through the booking system at least 24 hours before the scheduled class time to avoid forfeiture of the credit from your account.

7.2. [Applicable for Private Ballet Mentoring/Wedding Choreography Service only] A late rescheduling fee of SGD 40 will be incurred for any late rescheduling of classes. The Studio reserves the right to reschedule student(s) to another available day/time based on studio and teaching schedule availability.

7.3. Make-up lessons must be scheduled within the validity of the class credits stated in the booking system. Students may arrange for a make-up lesson in another class of the same programme or in another programme of equal value. If a student wishes to attend a make-up lesson in a programme of higher value, the Studio will advise on any fee difference to top up.

7.4. Class credits not utilised under any circumstances within the validity period will be forfeited.

8. Indemnity

8.1. Every care will be taken to ensure the wellbeing of the students during class. However, classes may be physically strenuous and participation is based on an understanding and knowledge that there is risk of personal injury. The Studio shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, penalty, cost, expense and/or any other consequences arising from and/or in connection with any of its classes or programmes to the fullest extent as may be permitted under the applicable laws and regulations.

8.2. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Assemblé Studios, its management, members, and staff against all losses, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, orders, penalties, and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) arising in connection with these terms and conditions.

9. Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)

9.1. By completing the registration form, you agree that the Studio may collect, use, and disclose your personal data as provided for the purpose (in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012) to process your registration application. Your continued attendance of classes, workshops, activities, or productions shall deem to be your acceptance of our right to use your personal contact details currently available within the Studio. To comply with the PDPA, the Studio hereby seeks your consent to use your personal contact details that you provided upon registration and currently available with the Studio, including your phone number and email address, for sending you information related to new events, studio activities, and promotions. This will allow the Studio to keep you updated on the studio’s latest happenings, news-related messages, events, and promotions. Your personal details will otherwise be kept confidential. The Studio will not disclose your personal data unless for the reason(s) stated above.

10. Photography and Videography
